President Jonathon Walters

Jonathon is currently the President of the Ghent Fire Company. He has previously been the Vice President, as well as the Assistant Secretary. In his 15 years in the fire service, Jonathon enjoys "Working with a really good group of men and women to help protect life and property in Ghent and the surrounding communities."

Secretary Chris Brennan

Chris has been in the Ghent Fire Company for a total of 7 years. Currently, he is the elected secretary of the fire department.In regards to the Ghent Fire Company, Chris enjoys the community service put forth as well as the comraderie with fellow firefighters.

Treasurer George Herrmann

George has been with the Ghent Fire Company for 49 years. He is currently the treasurer of the department, and has served as Past Chief, Past Fire Coordinator, and is a Past President of the Chiefs Association of Columbia County.

Chaplain Ken Wilber

Mr. Wilber has been in the Ghent Fire Company for 46 years. He is currently the company chaplain. Throughout his tenure, Mr. Wilber has been Past Treasurer, and Past President of the Company as well as the CCVFFA 1986 Convention. Ken enjoys the comraderie of the Fire Company along with the service it provides for the community and the tradition it has brought to the town.

Chief Wally Engel

Chief Wally Engel has been in the fire company for 19 years now. He has held all line officer positions and is also a Past Chief of Ghent from 2004-2006. Wally enjoys the fire company because of the oppurtunity to help someone out, and be involved with the community. He also enjoys the rigors and challenges a fire scene presents, and certainly to overcome them.

1st Asst. Chief Darryl Garafolo

Daryl has been a member of the Ghent Fire Department for 19 years. He has advanced through the ranks up to his current position of First Assistant Chief. Daryl enjoys the oppurtunity involved with the company to help out his neighbors and the challenges it presents day in and day out.

2nd Asst. Chief Dan Lamarre

Daniel has been in the Ghent Fire Company for 20 years. Currently, he is the 2nd Asst. Chief of the company. He is a Past Chief as well. Daniel enjoys such and such about the fire company.

Captain Anthony Brahm

Anthony has been in the Ghent Fire Company for 15 years. He is currently a Captain in the department. He is a Past Chief of the Niverville Fire Department. Among other things involved with the company, Anthony recieves great satisfaction from his service to the community, and being able to lend a hand to neighbors when they need help the most.
